So sorry I have not written in awhile. I have been in San Francisco and Las Vegas and New York. I am racking up the frequent flyer miles in hopes of another free trip to India.

For Easter I am going to join MaryAnn and Lisa and all the Hoenscheids in Lexington for Jim's birthday, horse races and as always lots of laughs. The weekend after that I am going to visit some friends in Austin before they move away.

In May I hope to see you all in Colorado, we need to nail down the dates on that and I will book my flights.

I also hope to see Aunt Paula in Montana this summer.

I am interviewing new people for my team. One spot is in NYC and one in SF so I will be back and forth a lot.

The news I hear from SF is that Dad got a brand new Dell desktop computer set up with a flat screen sleek monitor and DSL high speed connection. He also found a great cleaning lady and it sounds like his apartment is in tip top shape. Even the large chandelier is 100% dust free. I look forward to visiting.

In a Heart Beat ...

I've sure found out what a good heart rate means. I'm still gliding around. Walked eight miles around Arunachala mountain in Tiruvannamali today and will walk up a trail on the mountain tomorrow morning. Seems I never wear out now. Getting enough oxygen in the blood makes a big difference. I know I am incredibly lucky and blessed. Every heart beat now expresses my gratitude.

The last guest of the season is here. Nazneen from Bombay came for a week. She doesn't like to shop or sight see so it has been a quiet time. Think she is enjoying just relaxing. Here in Tiru she is staying with a friend across the way from me. We go back to Chennai on Friday and she leaves on Saturday.

I've made my reservations with Lufthansa. I leave Chennai on May 4th for Denver. Fly back to India on July 15th from Denver. Am really looking forward to long visits with everyone.

San Francisco

Dad, Bill and I are hanging out on a gorgeous San Francisco day in Park Merced.

They are bringing in snow from Tahoe and putting it on one of the lawns for the kids to play in. Namy and Jack would love the scene.

It snowed last night around city college and Portreo Hill and over by our old house on Colon.

Bill says Helloooo, his back is feeling so-so. The back book might have to Aunt Mary's house. We will ask her.

Namy's Big 6 Bash

Namy celebrated her sixth birthday on March 7th here in Chennai, India. She invited her entire kindergarden to join her for pizza, cake , fun and games at the local pizza restaurant. The restaurant, one of Namy's favorites, had a big enclosure full of tiny balls to jump in, which Jack loved. The older kids danced and played games. It was a great party. She had a pink cake with purple flowers which i will try and find a picture of and upload. Auntie Jo, Nana, Margery (Nana's San Francisco friend) bravely joined the party. As did Namy's friends from our apartment building. In all we had 28 kids and 12 adults.. As it got dark we noticed Namy's name was in lights outside. Sakshi pointed it out to us and said, 'Look Namy is famous, her name is in lights.." We wish you all were here to help us celebrate.
