Namy is now taking dance lessons. She is learning the traditional kartik dance. Note her dance outfit with all the bells on her ankles.

Four Seasons London

I finally made it to the other side of the pond. I am living in the Four Seasons London on the JB discount. She says I am the older American version of Eloise.

It has been sunny and unseasonably warm and I am steps from Hyde Park.

Today was my first day in the office. It is a bright open layout and I share the an office with my colleague and friend Stephen White.

Just getting started here. Feels good to finally be here after so much planning and transitioning.

Ahh! Homemade Chocolate Fudge

Saturday morning Namy and Jack made a panful of fudge. Namy found a recipe online and copied it. She and Jack measured ingredients, stirred everything together, and watched it cook. The best part was licking the spoons and cleaning the pan.

An Amazing Birthday!

After I recovered from my flu bout, we celebrated my birthday on Sunday. Went out for a delicious brunch at the Park Sheraton Hotel. Then later in the afternoon we continued the celebration with a chocolate cake. The cake was topped by something that looked like a big pink plastic flower...but when it was lit, the petals magically opened and revealed an array of flaming birthday candles. I have never seen anything like it.
